Primera Fashion Flowers knows the power of details. Director Gerco de Mooij: “Silk waxed roses are perfect for bridal work. They are also amazingly decorative in different designs leading up to Advent and Christmas. This stunning product boasts the beauty of fresh roses, while its looks can be tailored to taste.”
The roses from this FleuraMetz Preferred Supplier are a great fit to any occasion as we found out when visiting their Westland premises. You can hardly tell the silk waxed roses from the fresh ones. “We dip the roses ourselves, on Dutch soil. Our trained employees are here to look after a reliable and wide selection.”
Heat and cold
The roses can be transformed into any desired colour and amount of shimmer to fit the trending styles. Gerco: “Thanks to the prolonged vase life, you can now create designs that were unthinkable before. The roses are heat-tolerant for example, up to 50 degrees Celsius. Whether they’re being exposed to rain, cold or wind they still keep their deluxe appeal.”
Create your own
The Preferred Supplier keeps close contact with FleuraMetz in regards to the content of the current selection. FleuraMetz buyer Niels Glas: “If one of our customers wishes to have a specific colour combination, which is not part of the core collection, we can cater a one-off order together with Primera Fashion Flowers. We make sure that the right roses arrive to the customer at the right time.”
Responsible
The silk waxed roses from Primera Fashion Flowers are made with standard, neutral paraffin wax. The paraffin is coloured with natural food colouring to get the required shade. Gerco: “It’s the same colouring they use in marzipan and cake. It’s edible and meets the strictest requirements. Clearly our roses are not for consumption but they are responsibly produced.”
Gift
The roses are packed in a range of luxury boxes depending on the size (M or L) and quantity. Gerco: “It’s also possible to gift-wrap individual blooms making it a personal and unique present. Together with Niels and FleuraMetz, we listen to the demands from the industry and comply as much as possible. We work together creating a bright, new future!”
