Cargolux Airlines International S.A. was named Best Freighter Operator by Freighters World, a quarterly trade magazine issued by the publishers of UK’s Air Cargo News. Cargolux accepted the award from Roger Hailey, Editor of Air Cargo News and Freighters World, during an awards dinner at the 17th Freighter World conference in Chicago.
The Luxembourg-based carrier won the award after becoming one of four finalists in a hotly contested category. Mr. Hailey noted that Cargolux had provided evidence of new products and routes, customer engagement, industry innovation through its alliance with Emirates SkyCargo and investment in freighter aircraft.
“We are excited to be named the world’s best freighter operator once more,” says Richard Forson, Cargolux President and CEO. “This award shows the appreciation and support of our customers in the air freight industry for Cargolux, especially in today’s economic environment. It also shows that the market recognizes our unwavering commitment to quality and appreciates the performance and dedication of our staff’.
