Veiling Rhein-Maas publishes initial results of 2017 suppliers’ survey
Clear growth in satisfaction
‘In total, 24% of those asked took part in the online questionnaire, which is a very positive signal. We are particularly pleased with the clear increase in the level of satisfaction among Veiling Rhein-Maas’ suppliers, compared to the suppliers’ survey 2014’, says Uwe Bedenbecker, Managing Director of Veiling Rhein-Maas. ‘The overall satisfaction with the auctions rose by 16 points to 77%. The measures we introduced following the suppliers’ survey 2014 definitely contributed to this result.’
Physical auctions are still relevant
The initial results of the suppliers’ survey 2017 show that Veiling Rhein-Maas’ suppliers continue to value the physical auction of products. ‘With the Auction clock sales and Remote Buying, Clock pre sales and Direct Sales (Clock Service) our marketplace offers customers and suppliers the ideal package for organising individual purchases and sales’, says Marc Schax, Managing Director of Veiling Rhein-Maas. The results of the questionnaire show that suppliers sell their products through Veiling Rhein-Maas mainly for the following reasons: a customer base that matches what they offer, a good geographical location, and problem-free processes. In addition, the questionnaire once again made it clear that it is important to suppliers to know the right people to contact at Veiling Rhein-Maas and to have personal contact with them.
Targeted measures
Veiling Rhein-Maas has been analysing the results of this year’s suppliers’ survey in detail over the last few weeks, and is now working hard on targeted measures and projects to maintain the high level of satisfaction and is looking for opportunities to improve it.
