After the educational sessions held on October 19, the PMA Fresh Summit exhibition kicks off today. During this two-day expo, 1,000 exhibitors are showcasing their new products, trends and technologies. Amongst them are increasingly more floral exhibitors. The exhibition is held in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana (USA).

The PMA is an exhibition where American retailers meet the produce industry. Exhibitors mainly are Latin-American growers and exporters who can meet the demands of this mass market. Like the PMA itself, the Floral Zone is getting bigger and bigger every year. Over the last couple of years a growth of 50% was noticed.
