The Helleborus ‘Ellen Mix’ is a series of Helleborus which are currently available from Rijnbeek & Son in Boskoop.
Arno Rijnbeek takes up the story. “In my opinion it is the best Helleborus orientalis series which is available on the market. We grow these varieties as plugs, 9cm pots, bareroot and 2 litre pots. We can deliver them as a single colour or double or as a mixture in 2 litre pots. They flower both early and easily.”

“Helleborus ‘Pretty Ellen’ are the singles and the Helleborus ‘Double Ellen’ are the doubles. ‘Pretty Ellen’ is available in pink, purple, red, pink with spots and white. ‘Double Ellen’ comes in a number of colours including green, cream with purple spots and edge, double pink, double purple and double red. You can find them in the Rijnbeek 2018 catalogue with further names and descriptions.”
