CARGOBOSS & Van Daalen Transport open new logistics center in southern Germany

At the end of 2015, the companies of Zweckverband Gewerbepark Breisgau in Eschbach bought a plot of land of 8,000m2. The Gewerbepark Breisgau with a total area of 564 ha is a former French military airfield built in 1951. After the reunification of Germany in 1990, the German government decided to develop this area as an industrial area with the ultimate goal of creating 2,000 jobs. The park is located near the tripoint of Germany, France and Switzerland and has an excellent and fast connection with the Autobahn A5.

Together with the Triple Group and the German Architekten Buro Lais, CARGOBOSS & Van Daalen Transport have developed a second site at an A1 location 50 km from the Swiss border. On the guarded site there is a 1,200 m2 building with a warehouse of 600 m2 with 4 dock shelters and all facilities for the drivers and trucks.

The site is at a strategic location for the Swiss and south German customers. A part of the offices in the building will be leased as well as a part of the warehouse.

CARGOBOSS & Van Daalen Transport are specialized in international transports to Germany, Switzerland and northern France. They have 110 safe and environmentally friendly trucks available. Fifty staff members and 250 drivers work from the head office in Maasdijk.
