Russian flower show grabs attention

On the 20th of October a flower show was held in Cheboksary, Chuvashia in collaboration with OZ export and its preferred suppliers, breeder Dekker Chrysanten and their client customer. The event was held to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the customer.

This celebration was very special, because it was the first time that attention in this manner was paid to the floral industry in this city. The local broadcaster was also present at the event. The attention was grabbed thanks to the presence of the well-known florist Sergey Karpunin. Not only Sergey was a famous guest at this event, also high-end photographers and a television personality that presented the show were crowd-pullers.

The event was held for florists and other floral fans. More than 200 people were attending the event and were inspired by the art works that Sergey created during the show. In addition, he told about trends, gave some really nice tips and he revealed some of his secrets. Sergey Karpunin is known in Russia as the President of the floral organisation Florist, which organises several competitions and shows throughout the year.

Also attending the show, were representatives of the Ministry, including the Education Minister, who also handed out an award at the event.

OZ Export thanks the sponsors of the show: Coloríginz, Dekker Chrysanten, Moerman Lilium, Van der Lugt, Montana Lisianthus and De Haas Calla’s.
