NL: Big cheque Ronald Moerings Foundation for Netherlands Cancer Institute

On Friday December 8, Ronald Moerings Foundation visited Antoni van Leeuwenhoek, the Netherlands Cancer Institute (AVL). There a presentation was given on the developments and progress of the cancer research and, just like last year, a generous cheque was handed over (from the Foundation as well as from the foundation All The Way EFI).

After the visit, the entire delegation visited Celieplant/Bouquetnet at the Japanlaan. There they were given a short company presentation and offered dinner. The company consisted of about 70 people, says Peter Janmaat, and also included a group of 47 cyclists, who this year have cycled to Prague (last year it was Dublin).

Ronald Moering Foundation
Ronald Moerings was the owner of the R. Moerings water plant nursery in Roosendaal and was a passionate advocate for the AVL research and cancer research. In 2014, he himself started organizing campaigns to raise funding. When in November 2015, Moerings together with a passenger died in a tragic car accident, friends and also companies that were touched by his enthusiasm, decided to continue his initiative under the name of Ronald Moerings Foundation.
