NL: Divine Flowers sort the flowers by hand
Arnoud: “Divine means god-like but there is more to the name. The name Dianthus is derived from the Greek words Dios for god and Anthos for flower. From that perspective, carnations are Divine Flowers!”
Fleurametz's Preferred Supplier Divine Flowers has adapted its production process to suit consumers. Martin Zwinkels, one of the growers: “Fruit and flowers is not a successful combination yet they are often put on the same table at home. We pre-treat our carnations so they will stay fresh and last longer. Even if consumers decide to put them next to the fruit bowl.”
Handwork
Employees of Divine Flowers work with the greatest care and are specially selected for their precision. “Sorting out the flowers is done by hand and prevents inferior stems from slipping through quality control. Handwork is more accurate compared to machine production.” says Chris Doelman.
Ed Tousent is the third musketeer, who looks after a wide and strong, daily selection together with Chris and Martin. Sales Manager Arnoud Vooijs is responsible for sales and the future course of the company. This party of 4 is a winner.
