NL: Delphy buys plot for new research location for tree and perennial cultivation

On Wednesday 21 February 2018, Delphy signed the purchase agreement for a plot of land at the Dijkgraafweg in Hazerswoude-Dorp. At this location, the construction and development of a new research site for tree and perennial cultivation will start later this year. The plot was purchased from Kavelcoƶperatie Dijkgraafweg.

At the new location Delphy will expand its research activities for growers, manufacturers and suppliers. Greenhouse space will be built, new container fields and test fields for open field cultivation will be realized.

In 2018 and 2019 the tests will still be carried out at the research location at the Rijneveld in Boskoop. On Friday September 28, 2018, the annual open day will also be organized here.

Delphy carries out research in various sectors: strawberries, woody small fruit, greenhouse horticulture, hard fruit, arable farming, flower bulbs and arboriculture. Delphy has its own research locations for all sectors at its disposal, independently or in cooperation with partners. The studies that are carried out by Delphy have a practical approach in which we always look for the added value for the grower.
