Albert Heijn will be delivering flowers to the consumer under the name 'Bloemist'. "Just picked, fresh from the grower and guaranteed beautiful for seven days", as the retailer describes the new service.
It was currently possible to add flowers to your Albert Heijn order, but since last week Albert Heijn has a separate delivery service for flowers. The assortment consists of 9 bouquets ranging from € 15 to € 25 each. A personal card, a vase or chocolate can be added to the order.
Distrifood reports that the flowers are freshly packaged by e-Flora (part of Dutch Flower Group) and delivered directly to the recipient's home. The supermarket promises to deliver the bouquets throughout the country for a fee of € 5 on Monday to Friday and for € 7.50 for delivery on Sunday.
The orders placed via the website bloemist.ah.nl before 10pm will be delivered the next day. Furthermore, the supermarket also guarantees that the flowers will last for a week.
