Belgian breeder introduces helleborus that blooms at Christmas

Helleborus breeder Het Wilgenbroek have announced their new selections for 2018/2019.

The new Helleborus 'Winterfall' is a new selection of H.niger from seed that blooms at Christmas. It's a very compact variety with the flowers above the leaves.

The 'Lovely Collection’ is available in small pot sizes (11cm). These are selections from tissue culture in small pot sizes that bloom for more than 2 months. An evergreen plant which is especially ideal for presentations on balconies and even indoors or in the garden.

Helleborus ‘Mon Blanc’ is another new selection from H.niger that starts flowering in November and continues to make flowers through until April.
