UVC light also suitable to disinfect auction buckets or cultivation vases

Bacteria and fungi can be deactivated with UVC light. This principle is already widely used in water systems, but nurseries can also disinfect auction buckets or cultivation vases with the aid of light. This reduces the risk of contamination with flowers and plants. It contributes to the vase life and prevents the spread of fungi. Due to the UVC light, the most common bacteria are deactivated by 99%.

The advantages of disinfecting with UVC light:
- No chemicals
- Completely automated
- Sustainable process
- Bacteria not able to build up resistance.

Bioclimatic from Nieuw-Vennep, The Netherlands, is a specialist in the field of UVC light and now has a standard set available that can be integrated in an existing line by any machine builder.
