Wafex opened its doors in South America 14 months ago under the leadership of Andrea Hidalgo. Thanks to good results, a decision has been made to expand their operations and commitment to this region. On September they welcomed Esther Cabezas to the company. Esther comes with extensive experience in account management across the Asia, Middle East and European regions.
Wafex has offices in Australia, Kenya, South America and North America. Each office runs independently of the parent company to ensure they remain agile and responsive to growers and customer’s needs unburdened by large head office overheads, procedures and policies. The company's strategy is to provide a one stop shop to global customers to allow them to purchase from Africa, South America, North America and Australia either on FOB or CIF terms.
