Gowan USA announces the commercial launch of EcoSwing, an innovative botanical fungicide. EcoSwing is a liquid botanical fungicide based on the extract of Swinglea glutinosa, which is effective on several important crop and ornamental diseases including powdery mildew, botrytis, monilinia, and others. It has a unique mode of action, 0-day pre-harvest interval, and exemption from tolerances.
EcoSwing is labeled for use on outdoor and green house food and non-food crops. It is also registered on ornamental flowers, trees, shrubs, and plants grown in landscapes. EcoSwing is approved for use in organic production, allowing growers and applicators the flexibility to use it in both organic and conventional disease programs.
EcoSwing is the newest registration in the expanding Gowan USA portfolio of products that fit both conventional and organic production practices. This expanding portfolio includes AzaDirect insecticide, Badge X2 fungicide/bactericide, Captiva Prime insect repellant/ insecticide, M-Pede insecticide/miticide/fungicide, and Previsto fungicide/bactericide.
