British poinsettias arrive a week early due to summer heatwave

British Poinsettias arrive in Waitrose & Partners shops and on waitroseflorist.com one week earlier than last year due to the hot summer weather, marking the start of the festive season for many.

Waitrose & Partners’ Poinsettias are grown by the Paton family (Jean and her three sons, Rory and twin brothers Stuart and Ian) and their small team at Pinetops Nurseries in Lymington, Hampshire, who have been growing the seasonal flowers together for over 20 years.
