Benary has been producing flower seeds in Chile for decades, and at the beginning of November 2018, they opened their new production site in Hijuelas, Chile. The new site was opened in the presence of the main shareholder Klaudia Benary-Redlefsen.
"Hijuelas offers the perfect climate for the production of some of our most important crops."
Inauguration of the new Chile facility and celebration of 175 years of Benary
Hijuelas is located in the middle of a popular horticultural region; about 100 km north of Santiago and about 1.5 hours drive from Santiago airport.
There is a perfect network here of contract manufacturers with whom Benary has worked together for many years.

New production facilities enable Benary to massively improve its collaboration with partner companies, to produce critical cultures on its own and to carry out various post-harvest processes independently.
Quality, efficiency and reliability in flower seed production are thereby further improved and permanently guaranteed. Furthermore, the new facility has been built to strict environmental standards, further underlining Benary's claim to maximum sustainability.
