Netherlands: "Sustainable cultivation of quality roses"

Arend Roses currently grows 8 different varieties and 40 to 45 million roses per year.

The roses need about 7 to 8 weeks to grow into a ‘mature’ rose that is ready to be picked. The plants that produce these roses last for about 8 to 10 years and are of fundamental importance, which is why Arend Roses takes very good care of these plants.

Besides quality, sustainable cultivation is an important principle for Arend Roses. The business aims to grow its roses as sustainably as possible, which is why it invests in state-of-the-art technology every year to realise this objective. One example is the use of organic crop protection.

See below the 8 different rose varieties that are currently in the Arend Roses assortment:

  • Wow
  • Avalanche+ and Avalanche XL
  • Pink Avalanche+
  • Talea+
  • Red Eagle
  • Black Baccara
