Fargro's IPM specialist David Hide has been elected to represent the commercial horticulture category of the BASIS Professional Register.
The main role of the advisory committee is to act as a forum for the two-way exchange of information between BASIS Registration and its membership, as well as to provide advice to relevant BASIS Committees, from a member’s perspective, to relevant policies, codes, courses and training.
"I am very excited to be elected by my peers and will do my very best to represent our sector. I have already received some very good feedback which I look forward to taking to my first meeting.
