O'Connor's Nurseries back on track after Storm Emma:

"If we get through this, we get through anything"

After losing 50 percent of the nursery due to storm Emma, Irish pot and bedding plants grower O'Connor's Nurseries is back on track. With the support of Aldi Ireland along the way, things are looking up for them. Below, the video of this family business that Aldi Ireland posted on their LinkedIn page

In the video, owner Jim O'Connor shows the damage caused by the snow of Storm Emma. They felt the full effect. On March 2nd, they had 35 feet of snow in Gorey, Co. Wexford. The weight of the snow on the roof of the glasshouse collapsed the glasshouse. Initially, they lost 50 percent of the nursery. Now, everything is 100 percent fixed and they feel that the company is in good shape going forward. If we get through this, we get through anything.

O'Connor's Nurseries grows pot plants and bedding plants for the wholesale industry and they have been supplying Aldi for the last 6-7 years.
