Bloomin’ Easy introduces three new varieties for 2020, available to wholesale growers as young plants starting next spring: Thunderbolt Box Honeysuckle, Afterglow Weigela and Pinky Promise Snowberry.
“We’ve got some exciting plants in the pipeline and this year three made it through our trials,” says Brand Manager, DeVonne Friesen. “We’re confident these novelties will deliver long-term value for everyone involved in the Bloomin’ Easy program and perform for homeowners across North America.”
Thunderbolt Lonicera features dense chartreuse foliage that can be hedged or left naturally cascading in its compact form. Afterglow is a compact dark-leafed Weigela that’s covered in long-lasting cream and blush pink flowers. Pinky Promise is a Symphoricarpos with mint-green foliage and compact form that’s loaded with gumball pink ornamental berries during late summer and fall.
