After the last event held in Monterrey in 2017, this year Fun 'N Sun took place at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort, from July 24 - 27. The convention offered various activities such as education sessions, a flower fair, multiple cocktails and receptions to mingle and network as well as a golf tournament and a grower’s tour.
Also, Carmen Marquez of Ball SB had the chance to join the grower’s tour on Thursday (July 25) morning. "I simply have no words, it was amazing. The tour included three farms: Joseph N Sun, The Sun Valley Group and Westerlay Orchids. It was amazing to see all the care and passion each grower puts into their fields."
By Friday (July 26), the convention started with the educational sessions with topics including: how to boost sales off-season, Federal Public Issues affecting the industries, flowers trends 2019, etc. "As for us at Ball, we were delighted to keep up with the industry's latest, meet clients, and expose the varieties we have to offer for the Californian Floral Industry."
