US (FL): Greenhouse training online course on costing and profitability

Develop the skills to accurately estimate production cost and profit for your greenhouse or nursery business. Costing & Profitability is the fourth course of the 2019 Greenhouse Training Online courses program offered by the University of Florida IFAS Extension. This course is advanced level and it is designed for experienced, well-trained growers, or people with upper university education. The course is offered in English and Spanish, with instructors Paul Fisher, Alan Hodges, Kevin Athearn, and Rosanna Freyre at UF, Charlie Hall from Texas A&M University, and Bill Swanekamp from Kube-Pak Corp.

The course runs from September 2 to September 30, 2019 and includes a personalized certificate of completion. The cost is $US 499 per participant, with discounts if you register 5 or more. The last day to register is September 9, 2019. Over 4 weeks, there are streaming video lessons, readings and assignments (about 3-4 hours total commitment per week), which can be accessed at any time of day.
