Remember the Clay Lake project of KG Greenhouses? In a series of videos Project Manager Carel Pronk provided regular construction updates, from the groundworks till the moment the first plants were brought into the nine-hectare greenhouse.
Phase 2
Well, KG Greenhouses has not quite left Spalding since the project was finished. In a new video, Carel tells how they started working on Clay Lake phase 2. “We will basically double the size of this beautiful project. We are going to add another 7 hectares of growing area and we are going to add a big boiler house with two boilers this time. We will double the dispatch area to 3,800 square metres and we will extend the technical area as well and part of the working area.”
For now, there is a lot of work to do and already been done for the foundation and the heating.
