Russia: Rose growing greenhouse in Izhevsk to be modernized

The enterprise Dekorativno Tsvetuschie Zvety from Izhevsk will conduct modernization, reports the press service of the government of the Republic of Udmurtia. It will increase productivity and lower own production cost by 30%. 

Within the investment program, a new contemporary greenhouse will be constructed with the acreage of 2.2 ha and production capacity of 6.9 million roses per year. With the planned growth of productivity, own costs will be lowered by 30%. It is noted that the quality of roses will be comparable with the Dutch ones. The produce will be delivered all over the Russian Federation.

Thirty new working places will be created as the result of the modernization.

The cost of construction works will amount to 7.4 million Euro.

Currently, the enterprise takes second place in the Russian Federation in the amount of produced gerberas.
