Royal FloraHolland:

Six seasonal flowers are starting 23 September 2019 with Fc588

In March 2019, Royal FloraHolland introduced the new efficient multi-use flower bucket (Fc588) with matching support shelving (Fc598) into their packaging pool. This roll-out continues on 23 September 2019, with the Gypsophila, Hypericum, Chamelaucium (Waxflower), Limonium, Veronica and Euphorbia products.

With the introduction of the new efficient flower bucket Fc588, they are responding to the increasing use of CC containers in the export trade, working on further sustainability and ensuring that the chain costs are reduced.

Release of six seasonal flowers
Starting Monday 23 September 2019, growers of the seasonal flowers below can supply (both Clock and Direct trade) in Fc588 and/or Fc598:

  • Gypsophila
  • Hypericum
  • Chamelaucium (Waxflower)
  • Limonium
  • Veronica
  • Euphorbia

Earlier this year the product groups Lisianthus and Alstroemeria started using the Fc588 (and Fc598). As of now, over 2.5 million rotations in the new packaging units have taken place.
