September 11-13, Beijing

Costa Farms’ Far East Division VP to speak at World Ornamental Horticulture Summit

Over the past 11 years, Fabian Saenz has made it his mission to expand one grower’s global business into China. Saenz, vice president of Costa Farms’ Far East Division in Guangzhou China, will share his journey and the company's challenges along the way at the World Ornamental Horticulture Summit taking place in the Yanqing District of Beijing September 11-13.

“Bringing business to the Far East has made the world a smaller place. It opens doors full of opportunities,” Saenz said.

Saenz will deliver a talk, entitled ‘International Growers Making Business in China’, outlining how Costa Farms, one of the largest producers of ornamental plants in the world, has built strong cooperation with China to expand its global relationships into the Chinese market; the opportunities presented by this effort; and how the company has managed challenges along the way.

With a record of leading global business development in new markets, Saenz will offer the audience valuable knowledge from his own professional experience.

“Conference-goers will find great value in Saenz’s presentation,” says Jose Smith, CEO at Costa Farms. “His strong background in international business and dedication to Costa Farms makes his experiences especially interesting for this audience.”

The World Ornamental Horticulture Summit 2019 is attended by growers, breeders, manufacturers and technology suppliers in the ornamentals industry. The summit is co-organized by AIPH (as part of the 71st AIPH Annual Congress, Beijing September 8-14) with AIPH member the China Flower Association (CFA), the Beijing Flower Association, the National Forestry and Grassland Association, China (NFGA), China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, Bureau of Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition Coordination and the People’s Government of Yanqing District Beijing.
