Richard Pryor joins BON as Agri-Tech Engineer

BON welcomes Richard Pryor to the newly created position of Agri-Tech Engineer. Richard will be responsible for the design and project management of customised horticultural technology solutions to West Australian producers ranging from pack floor automation, green/glass house advanced enviro control, water fertigation and climate systems. 

Richard has previous experience with protected cropping automation control systems working as a Field Engineer with New Zealand based company Autogrow. As a qualified Electrician, over the last 15 years, Richard has gained considerable experience in the industrial sector including designing, installing and maintaining various manufacturing sites and automation lines. With additional automation and AutoCAD qualifications. Richard has also undertaken Greenhouse Technical Management training to further enhance his ability to understand growers needs and the requirements for maximised plant production.

"It’s an exciting time ahead in the Ag sector, as customers look for ways to improve systems and efficiencies Bon provides a great opportunity to use advanced technology where it’s needed most.,” Richard said.
