Korean orchids arrive in the US

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Korea announced the arrival of Korean Orchids, which is celebrated with a Korean Orchid Festival at the participating Lotte Plaza Markets. Korean Orchids are now available in the United States for the first time in history. After years of coordination, the Korean Orchid has been brought to the US for purchase.

The Korus Korean Orchid Corporation, based in Apopka, Florida, works 365 days a year to produce orchids in three different species (oncidium, Kingianum and phalaenopsis). These Orchids have never before been in the United States, which opens many new doors for the floral industries and community.

Three Lotte Plaza Markets, in coordination with the Korus Korean Orchid Corporation, will be hosting special events this September to October to celebrate this historical moment in the orchid industry. Korean Orchids will be available for purchase in Virginia, Florida, and New Jersey. These orchids will also be available online for purchase. This first set of Korean Orchids in the US will be available for a limited time only.
