Uralchem moves into retail segment with consumer fertilizers

Uralchem signed an agreement with Strada at the FlowersExpo in Moscow (September 10-12). The agreement will see the two companies working together on the development of the project “Small packaging”, aimed at meeting the demand of clients in the retail sector.

The brand 'Joy', the trademark used by Strada to produce and sell fertilizers and plant protection remedies for home and garden use is well-known to private garden owners, who are waiting impatiently for the expansion of the product assortment with new Uralchem products. The three new brands will soon appear on the shelves of regional stores: concentrated Norwegian saltpeter, calcium-ammonium nitrate and Azofoska 27/6/6/2.

Ms. Natalia Farafonova, marketing director of Uralchem, said: “The mutual project with the Strada company will bring joy to the owners of private gardens as we will provide them with quality fertilizers produced by Uralchem. The product line of the Joy brand is presented broadly in trade chains. For Uralchem it is, first of all, a possibility to broaden our presence and to enter a new segment: the retail business. Within the development of the project 'Small packaging,' we have planned the launch of other products as well. Their brand names will be announced at the end of 2019”.
