Photo impression: Naivasha Horticultural Fair 2019

With 2 days of sun shining over the Naivasha Horticultural Fair exhibition ground, it came to an end with some showers on Saturday, September 21. With more than 180 exhibitors, it has been the biggest edition so far. Combined with welcoming over over 3,400 visitors makes the organization looking forward to next year's edition.

The Naivasha Horticultural Fair is traditionally held outdoors, on the golf course at the Naivasha Sports Club. Weather is, therefore, an important factor for the creation of the atmosphere. And the weather cooperated this year. "It stayed fine until late lunchtime on the Saturday when we had some showers -  which is a sign of a blessing in Kenya", says Naivasha Horticultural Fair Chairman Richard McGonnell.

With challenging times, particularly in the rose industry, the organization is very pleased with the outcome of this year's edition. McGonnel: "Not only the weather, but the quality of visitors created the positive vibe on the fair ground."

Guest of Honour was the Deputy Governor and exhibitors from all related industries from Kenya as well as from abroad were exhibiting their products and services. Also, Karel van Hattum of the Dutch company Jamafa Machinery was exhibiting at the fair and was sent us some pictures to get an impression of the show.
