On 23 September 2019 Royal FloraHolland took a further step in the roll-out of the flower bucket Fc588. The Fc588 is now also available to the suppliers of Gypsophila, Hypericum, Waxflower, Limonium, Veronica and Euphorbia.
In March 2019, the auction introduced the new multi-use flower bucket (Fc588) with matching support shelving (Fc598) to their packaging pool. There will be a phased introduction per product group.
Walter Arts (Operations Manager at Florius B.V.) is enthusiastic about the Fc588: "Initially, we had our doubts about the number of stems per bucket and per layer. But various tests have shown that we can truly achieve an additional load of 11%. We are therefore happy to be able to switch to Fc588 for products Hypericum and Veronica from 23 September 2019."
