‘Sustainable Relationship’ theme celebrates 20 years of DFG

Nominees for Dutch Flower Awards 2019 revealed

With the Dutch Flower Awards 2019 fast approaching, Dutch Flower Group (DFG) has announced this year’s nine nominees in the categories of Cut Flowers, Plants and Foreign Growers. This is the 18th time DFG has shone the spotlight on its supply chain partners through these Awards. To mark DFG celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, judging has been based around the theme of "Sustainable relationship".

2019 nominees
Nominees in the Cut Flowers category are Niels Kreuk B.V., Novastar Lilies and Van der Lugt Lisianthus. In the Plants category: Eurogreen B.V., Van Geel Orchideeën and Ter Laak Orchids. Meanwhile, AQ Roses from Ethiopia, Flores Silvestres from Colombia and Saidi Ronen from Israel are the nominated Foreign growers for the Dutch Flower Awards 2019.

The winners will be revealed in a presentation ceremony on Thursday 7 November at 3pm at the RFH Trade Fair Aalsmeer, at the Dutch Flower Group stand, 18.2.

Preferred Partner Recognition
Immediately following the presentation of the Dutch Flower Awards, DFG will turn its attention to the supply chain partner deserving of special recognition for their intensive and future-focussed cooperation with Dutch Flower Group companies. The Preferred Partner Recognition will be presented by Marco van Zijverden, CEO of DFG.
