UK: JZ Flowers expected to get green light for expansion

A trio of applications to support the further expansion of a company that produces flower bouquets for retailers including Aldi and Tesco look set to get the go-ahead.

Newport Buildings, a company connected with JZ Flowers, submitted an application to East Riding of Yorkshire Council earlier this year for further development at Dianthus Business Park in Newport, East Yorkshire.

The proposed facility represents the eighth phase of development and would provide raw materials storage to accommodate increased floral bouquet production in the adjacent buildings.

The application will be considered by the council's Planning Committee on 24 October and are recommended for approval, subject to conditions, in an officer's report prepared for the meeting.
