The Trade Fair Aalsmeer will be held on 6, 7 and 8 November, with an exhibition area of 25,000 m2, 20,000 products and 700 exhibitors from the Netherlands and abroad. Growers, breeders and traders will be presenting their novelties and special flowers and plants to a wide audience.
The three-day event offers new products, innovative design, smart merchandising concepts and an educational programme.
The Royal FloraHolland House
The Royal FloraHolland House occupies a central position at the Trade Fair Aalsmeer. Here, presentations will be given about topics such as internationalisation, sustainability, innovation and digitisation. There will also be trend and inspiration workshops, novelties and Floriday, Royal FloraHolland's digital platform, will be present at the fair to provide visitors with all the information they need about this infrastructure.
A full exhibition hall
As always, bookings for this year's Trade Fair Aalsmeer have been strong in recent months. As a result, 400 potted plant growers, 200 producers of fresh cut flowers, 45 breeders, a dozen flower wholesalers and a further 80 suppliers have taken up 100% of the available space. Most of the exhibitors are growers.
Innovation
The Greenovation Award, which has replaced the Best Stand Award over the past two years, recognises companies that have shown exceptional leadership and performance in protecting the planet and its people. Royal FloraHolland's Sustainability Committee, consisting of Auke Boerma, Piet Briët and Stefanie Miltenburg, has selected 11 nominees in two categories: product and concept. They will announce the winners at an award ceremony scheduled for 6 November at 4:00 pm. You can vote for the Greenovation awards until 31 October.
