November 5-7, Miami

US (FL): Close to 600 industry professionals expected at Floral Distribution Conference

The Wholesale Florist & Florist Supply Association (WF&FSA) will host its 2019 Floral Distribution Conference (FDC) at the Miami Airport Convention Center next week, November 5-7. Taking place in Miami, FL, this three-day conference is built around the theme “Changing Tides,” and will provide educational sessions on disruptions within the floral distribution channel, including changes to transportation, logistics, business consolidation and supply chain challenges. In addition to education and networking, attendees will be able to meet with almost 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest products in the floral industry.

“We are pleased to bring together hundreds of wholesale floral professionals for three days of networking, education and business growth opportunities,” said Molly Alton Mullins, Executive Vice President of WF&FSA. “This is the largest event in the wholesale floral industry, and we expect close to 600 industry professionals to attend and experience all FDC has to offer.”

During the conference, WF&FSA will also unveil its Retail Florist of the Year and the recipient of the 2019 Leland T. Kintzele Distinguished Service (LTK) Award. The LTK award was established to honor individuals who have made substantial contributions in the floral industry and have shown distinguished service that exemplifies the integrity of WF&FSA’s President from 1963-1965, Leland T. Kintzele. New in 2019, WF&FSA attendees will also travel off property for WF&FSA’s Yacht Life Party, which will take place aboard the Biscayne Lady, sailing around Miami.

Registration is open onsite, and more information can be found at www.wffsa.org.
