Helleborus Christmas Carol celebrates 15th anniversary

This Helleborus Christmas Carol season is a very special one; the winter flowering plant from grower Syngenta Flowers kicks off its 15th season. The Christmas Carol variety flowers weeks before Christmas with bright white, sparkling flowers.

Special anniversary
Helleborus Christmas Carol is celebrating a special event this season. The product was first introduced to the market 15 years ago. This is a special milestone for Syngenta Flowers, the grower of this variety. The big advantage of this plant is that it flowers well before Christmas. During the next few weeks the product will be widely available.

Availability & quality
Helleborus Christmas Carol is grown by several European growers. The largest selection in the Netherlands is available at Hoogeveen Plants, Montis and Freek van der Velden nursery. The Christmas roses are grown in different pot sizes; 9, 10.5, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17 and 19 cm and in 6-packs. The Helleborus Christmas Carol growers sort their products according to size and quality. This allows them to deliver uniform batches to different segments throughout the season. Helleborus Christmas Carol is grown from seed; a method that is carefully carried out by Syngenta Flowers. The young plants arrive at the nurseries in the spring and are delivered three quarters of a year later, on their way to European consumers.
