Royal FloraHolland announces new safety rules

As of 1 January 2020, there will be new safety rules for all the sites and buildings of Royal FloraHolland. These regulations apply to all users of the marketplace, such as suppliers, customers and employees. The Members' Council and the customer platform support the rules and together want to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.

As of 1 January 2020, it will be compulsory to wear safety shoes and hi-vis clothing in the logistics areas. It is also prohibited to bring children under the age of 14 into the logistics areas. A large number of safety rules have been adopted from the auction regulations, such as the traffic rules and the smoking ban. Not only the logistic processes of Royal FloraHolland, but almost the entire building has been designated as a logistics area.
