Danish trader FloriPartner opened its doors for the Magic Stars event of German breeder Selecta one on November 12 and 13. During the event and the two weeks after, they welcomed around 80 visitors from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Germany. Very important for FloriPartner and their visitors is that the plants are grown under local conditions. It gives a clear picture which varieties are doing well in the northern part of Europe and which might be more suited for the southern parts", says Milena Weller of Selecta one.
In Denmark, the majority of the poinsettias are produced in 6cm and the main varieties of Selecta one in this country are Christmas Feelings for the red and white, Christmas Beauty for the colored – Princess, Cinnamon, Pink etc.-, Christmas Universe and Princettia.
These main varieties, including the upcoming varieties SkyStar, Christmas Mouse and Happy Mood, were all on display at FloriPartner.
