Russian flower growers earn several times more per flower than their Dutch colleagues

In the Moscow region, the flower growing greenhouse gets 0.10 euro per flower, while the Dutch growers get only 0.01 euro, announced recently the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow region, Mr. Andrey Razin.

“There are a few flower growing greenhouses in the Moscow region with several dozens of acres but I know how much they earn and how they evaluate their position in the market. In the Netherlands the growers earn 1 cent on every flower they have produced, while with us the number reaches 10 cent”, mentioned Mr. Razin in the forum Greenhouse Complexes of Russia and CIS 2019 in Moscow. He also noted that a flower bush is renewed every five years in Moscow region, while in the Netherlands they last for eight years.

The fourth annual international investment forum and exhibition Greenhouse Complexes of Russia and CIS 2019 is a prestigious international professional event for attracting investments in the greenhouse industry of the Russian Federation, discussing the strategies of industry development and concluding new mutually beneficial contracts.
