UK: Rotary recognition for horticulture journalism veteran

At a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Ipswich UK, Horticultural Photo Journalist Michael Warren FCI Hort. was surprised by being made a Paul Harris Fellow for his services through the Rotary International organisation. Michael, with 51 years service to horticulture, has been a Rotarian for over 30 years helping with local and international projects.

The certificate states ‘Michael Warren is hereby named a Paul Harris Fellow in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations among peoples of the world’.

Paul Harris was the founder of the Rotary movement in 1908, based in Chicago. It quickly spread world-wide with its charitable work.
