Integrating pesticides with biological control agents: Can it be done?

Raymond Cloyd, Kansas State University, presented Integrating Pesticides with Biological Control Agents: Can It Be Done at the Great Lakes Expo in Grand Rapids.

More than 100 attendees listened to the talk about the controversial issue of using pesticides in conjunction with biological control agents, such as: parasitoids and predators. The presentation discussed the direct and indirect effects of pesticides (insecticides, miticides and fungicides) on specific biological control agents along with results from scientific studies conducted under laboratory and greenhouse conditions.

Integrated pest management is one of Plant Products’ key strengths for their customers’ successful pest control programs.
