PanAmerican Seed on their new series Zesty

"An exciting, new series of Zinnia elegans with extraordinary garden appeal"

The all-new Zinnia Zesty series from PanAmerican Seed is available in five colours and a mixture. It features fully double flowers and excellent garden vigour. With both a plant height and spread of 45-60 cm, this series displays huge, vibrant colours all season long.

Zinnia Zesty is impressive in containers and mixed combinations, and can also be used in beds and borders. Plus, pollinators love this plant!
The Zesty series is supplied as coated seed. All growing information for Zesty can be found on its GrowerFacts. These GrowerFacts, for example, includes a plug crop time of 3 to 4 weeks and transplant to finish is 6 to 7 weeks.

Zinnia Zesty Scarlet at LVG Heidelberg, Germany

This vigorous series is available in five colours: Fuchsia, Pink, Purple, Scarlet (the most compact variety in the series) and White, as well as one Mixture of all these colours plus Yellow (not available separately).

For growing success with Zesty, depending on your growing conditions, pot sizing and sales goals, you may need growth regulation for your plants. The presentation below demonstrates the reaction of Zesty to different PGR treatments at plug and finish stages.

Zinnia Zesty White in Hennebont, France (September 2019)

"When we are talking about zinnia we can’t forget to mention our Zahara series." These series contains 15 colours and five mixes available for your vibrant Spring and Summer programs. They both feature extra-large blooms in bold colours, across single and double flower forms. These disease-resistant plants have larger flowers than the competition – for less care and more colour impact that lasts in the landscape. Click here to read more about our Zinnia Zahara series.
