Wonder Cement at Udaipur flower expo

Indian cement producer gets people in touch with nature

The flower show is one of the major attractions for residents and tourists in winter in Udaipur, India. The event was inaugurated by senior officials of Wonder Cement, including Shri. Parmanand Patidar, Director, Shri. Sanjay Joshi, Executive Director and Nitin Jain, VP - Commercial on December 25 at the world famous Fatehsagar lakeside.

Even before the official inauguration, the show drew large crowds throughout the day with young and old equally delighted to watch the exotic and decorative flowers put on display.

Wonder Cement participated in the flower expo with "Beti Bachao - Beti Padho" (Save Girl - Educate Girl) to create awareness in society. During the flower expo, Wonder Cement provided a sanitary pads vending machine for the girls of NCC and CVAS campus in the presence of Colonel Vinod Bangarva and Lieutenant Colonel Thomas.

During the 10-day event, 5,000 plants including Money Plant, Tulsi Mithi Neem and flower seedlings in bio-degradable polythene, which is decomposed within 180 days into soil, would be distributed free-of-cost to visitors to promote horticulture as well as to bring people close to nature, Assistant Manager of Wonder Cement, Motilal Paliwal, said.
