200 thousand bulbs of tulips and a million seeds of annual flowers will soon start germinating in the greenhouses of the department of green construction in Krasnoyarsk. The enterprise covers the acreage of 8 thousand square meters.
The tulips bulbs were planted in autumn, now the associates start bringing the crates in the greenhouses for forcing. First tulips will be ready for sale for the Saint Valentine’s Day. The enterprise will offer 11 varieties of red, white, yellow, pink and purple colors.
In January, the associates of the greenhouses started sowing annual plants for seedlings. The seedlings of petunia, salvia, cineraria, marigold, antirrhinum, begonia, zinnia, balsamine and ageratum will further decorate city flower beds in parks and squares.
