Julij Brinc has been appointed by Smithers-Oasis, a long-term strategic partner of Florint, as the new Vice-President for Central and Eastern European Operations.
In his new role, Julij Brinc has responsibility for the Smithers-Oasis operations in Germany, France, Belgium and Slovenia, which serve approximately 45 markets throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
Prior to this promotion, Julij has had responsibility for market development and customer relationships in the Eastern European Market, which includes about 30 countries, and for overall operations in Slovenia/Croatia as Managing Director of Smithers-Oasis Adria.
Julij brings a lot of experience to his new role, as he has been part of the floral industry for over 20 years. He started his career in 1999 when he joined his family’s business, Ikebana Brinc, a leading distributor of Oasis Floral Products and manufacturer of floral foam accessory products for Smithers-Oasis Germany.
Julij became part of the global management team when Smithers-Oasis acquired Ikebana Brinc in 2007.
