Royal FloraHolland: "Starting 2 November 2020, it will only be possible to purchase remotely with KOA"

Nowadays, more than 1000 companies - spread over no less than 5500 remote KOA work stations- purchase on one of Royal FloraHolland’s auction clocks. They are bidding, straight from their work station, on all auction clocks of Royal FloraHolland. Only a few buyers do not use KOA yet.

"To make sure we can continue to offer them access to the broadest and deepest assortment flowers and plants, we will be helping them to make the transition to KOA in the following weeks. This way, they can also make their purchases on the Digital Nationwide Clock in the future", Royal FloraHolland states on their website.

Starting from 2 November it will only be possible to purchase through KOA or a KOA Buyers Workstation (KBW). Purchasing through the buttons in the auction rooms will no longer be possible.

Make the switch now!
Are you not yet purchasing through KOA? Then this is the perfect time to make the switch. They would be happy to help you with this. You can read more about your transition to KOA in the brochure on their website.

"Our colleagues of Digital Clock Support are available five days a week to assist with your switch to Remote Buying. Our colleagues would also be happy to help with the installation of KOA on your PC at our locations Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk and Rijnsburg. Remote installation is also possible."

"After KOA has been installed on your PC, our colleagues would be happy to help you on your way with a short explanation of the KOA application. There are also instruction videos on our website in which KOA is explained step-by-step."

Merging of auction rooms Aalsmeer and Naaldwijk
To facilitate KOA Buyers Workstations in their auction rooms, the current auction rooms will be transformed into KBW's over the coming weeks. "The amount of visitors in the auction rooms is decreasing, and therefore we are combining rooms with low occupancy in Aalsmeer and Naaldwijk, which will, in turn, limit the amount of auction rooms that need to be built. In Aalsmeer we are relocating auction room E to G and in Naaldwijk we are relocating auction room C to D. The relocation will be finished by 2 November. "
