Marginpar introduces white clematis

It has taken the Clematis breeder years and years, but finally Marginpar managed to make a Clematis in a colour that they have been chasing for years: white.

The first white Clematis cut flower in the Amazing family is called ‘Clematis Amazing Vienna’, after the national capital of Austria. A country know for its snow covered Alps.

Marginpar sent this enchanting flower to several designers to test her out. They loved the big, pearl white flowers; bright green leaves on curly stems, and potential to star in so many themed designs. Weddings, winter, vintage, you name it. Check out the designs they made here.

The new white Clematis is available from December 7 at Royal FloraHolland Aalsmeer. The average lifespan is around 10-14 days. In a warm or dark environment, the lifespan will be shorter, if the environment is light and cool, the branches can flower nicely for at least 3 weeks. More information on the variety can be found here.
