Horticoop B.V. will take over Finoxa’s shareholding in Smartcoat B.V. (20%) by the end of 2020. The producer of shading agents will be wholly owned by Horticoop B.V.
Smartcoat, with its brands Reducsystems and Sudlac, is active in more than 50 countries and produces innovative coatings and cleaning agents that enable growers to better influence the greenhouse climate. Smartcoat is also active in the line marking business.
The increase of the shareholding in Smartcoat is part of Horticoop's strategic transition process. Horticoop is strongly committed to stimulate innovation in the industry and to improve the performance of its members. By doing this Horticoop aims to create value for its stakeholders and contribute to a healthy future for (glasshouse) horticulture.
