Germany: "Hydrangeas are still in vogue"

The unbroken demand for hydrangeas continues and delights the end consumer with new colours for indoor plants as well as for outdoor use and, last but not least, as an atmospheric element in bouquets. This interest is sustained not least by the attractive, new varieties that are repeatedly introduced to the market and that are constantly expanding the range.

Company Brandkamp from Germany-Isselburg, has also added 3 interesting varieties to its NHS hydrangea range:

The NHS Soft Blue Power variety impresses with its beautiful, pure pink colour or, if it is blued, with its beautiful light blue. The flowers stand on sturdy stems and the growth is medium-strong, so that this variety is suitable for using as a pot plant and in the outdoor area. A nice detail is the red border on the leaf margin in the early stages.

The red colour spectrum is supplemented by the NHS Bright Red Power variety. This bright red, medium-strong growing variety impresses with its colour, firm flowers and very homogeneous growth. Blued, the NHS Bright Red Power turns a strong, bright purple. She will definitely find her place in the top group.

The 3rd variety is the NHS Light Pink Power. The light, delicate pink of this a bit stronger growing variety with its fresh, green foliage is a nice addition to the range.

As already mentioned, all varieties are suitable for the production of potted plants for indoor and outdoor use. The NHS Soft Blue Power and NHS Bright Red Power varieties are also ideal for cut flowers.

The outlook for the coming years remains exciting with the promising varieties that are still in the testing phase.
